RIAA cock up again

The Recording Industry ASS of America have done it again. This time they seem to have got Secret service agents to help them on a raid and then woefully exaggerated the success of the raid by claiming that they recovered 421 CD-R burners. Oh, no hang on – that’s the equivalent of 421 burners. There were actually only 156 burners but some of them were very fast so they count as more than one. Is it just me or does that seem like a really good idea? Maybe my boss will agree and pay me double for all my good work or maybe the police will count each arrest as two arrests if the bad guy was really, really naughty?
