Johnny Cash is up for 6 MTV video awards for a video that has probably only been shown 6 times on the music station. If you haven’t seen his cover version of Nine Inch Nail’s ‘Hurt’ than check it out now. In fact, just go buy the album and hear his magnificent versions of Depeche Mode’s ‘Personal Jesus’ and even Sting’s ‘I Hung My Head’ – both superb. (although I will admit ‘Danny Boy’ and ‘We’ll meet again’ are both flawed)
