DiscLive – Bring Home The Excitement

How good an idea is this – in this age of corporations bemoaning and insulting music fans, few bands have had the cojones to go against the grain and do something different (Grateful Dead, Pearl Jam etc) but the Pixies have enlisted DiscLive to record their shows and press up the cds in a truck outside the venue. 1000 copies are pressed and any not sold on the night get sold on the web. The quality is superb as it’s straight from the mixing desk. Anyone fancy setting up a UK franchise?
