Flickr photo slideshows

I haven’t logged onto Flickr for a month or two but, friend of gromblog, Imran has just pointed out a couple of very cool new features to me. First up is the photo tagging. Every time you upload a photo to flickr, you can add your own tags to the image. Now you can create a slideshow of every image that has been uploaded to Flickr with any tag you want. Check out the slideshow for ‘sleeping’ as an example – it’s arty, hypnotic and addictive.

The other cool feature is that when you upload or view a photo, you can add notes to them in slices like hotspots – I’ve seen people upload a photo of a bookshelf and every book was clickable to take you to the Amazon page for that book.
