Frank Zappa: Statement To Congress September 19, 1985

No reason to re-publicise this Statement To Congress that Frank Zappa made in 1985 at the height of the PMRC witchhunt led by Tipper Gore, wife of Al Gore (who I’m baffled to find is now supposed to be a good guy but I guess compared to Dubya, anyone can fill the good guys shoes – it’s all relative). Well, I say no reason, except that it’s still highly relevant and intelligent – I wish more people who come forward as figureheads for free speech and tolerance.
And if you can’t trust a man who has spiders, jellyfish, molluscs, fish, asteroids, microbes, motherboards and streets all named after him then who can you trust?
