WarGames Sequel Now (unfortunately) Filming

As we hinted at a month or two ago, the sequel to WarGames is now filming and if that in itself wasn’t enough to make you avoid it, it seems MGM are suing wargames.com for the rights to the domain. The lawyers seem to have decided that they ‘own’ the rights to a word/phrase used by numerous groups or people before their original film came out. I hope they realise that they have no right to this domain and could easily use wargames-the-movie.com or wargames.mgm.com etc. Merely by filming a sequel (that is 100% guarenteed to suck or I’ll give you your money back) they’ve besmirched the memory of a decent film that summed up the era it was based in.
