BA cuts Branson from Bond movie
Is this the definition of petty? Background to the story here.
I added a mention of this to Wikipedia and included the BBC reference etc but one of the Wiki-fascists removed it yesterday on the basis that it wasn’t relevant to the airline, even though I added it to the Virgin vs BA dirty tricks section. The ‘editor’ was a plane spotter who focuses on technical data about planes so guess he had his own agenda – I do like Wikipedia but w4nkers like that p1ss me off.
If you ask me, that c**t Branson got everything he deserves. I’ve not been keen on him since being forced into a weekly 3 hour/£75 commute on Virgin trains, and since he stole my Sky 1 on cable I would gladly see him eaten alive by many small creatures. So I can’t really blame BA for this little “correction”.
Would that have been better placed in the ‘trivia’ section Grom? Perhaps on the Brason page?

“I remember hearing that all but one airline in the world cut out the sequence in “Rain Man” where Hoffman’s character refuses to fly any airline except Qantas on the grounds that only they have a perfect safety record.”

Interesting, thanks. Link stolen and commented on here: http://blog.gusset.co.uk/2007/04/product-displacement.shtml
