Tom Lehrer Video

This is the first video of Tom Lehrer I’ve come across so far – for such a well known humourist, he’s very camera-shy, but let’s face it, musicians don’t normally play at Maths lectures.

ps: how many maths lectures have you ever been to? a drum n’ bass or improv jazz interlude was expected at every third year maths lecture i ever went to ;)

Dizzy Gillespie actually taught me about Nth order differentials at collage.

I remember having “musical acoustics” lectures with a beardy lecturer chalking up Fourier series with one hand and playing scales on a saxophone with the other. Ahh, I miss Uni.
