The Hello Experiment
Remember the seminal (as it iconic – and not-sperm related although it could be aruged…) video for Lionel Richie’s Hello? The Hello Experiment sought to find out if you could recreate the sculpture whilst blindfolded. You might want to turn the sound off to protect your ears from this aural poison.
What was the point of that? Without a baseline of a bust made by the same sculptors while NOT blindfolded we have no idea if this is better or worse than their usual work. I’m also assuming that none of those sculptors were blind and therefore had no experience of making busts without the benefit of eyesight. Neither did they have a model to work from. What a lousy experiment. Trust a bunch of artists to think they can do science. Brainiac has better science than this.
erm, it was made by an advertising agency as part of their showreel for a bit of fun, not exactly a scientific experiment – wasn’t meant to be serious!
