Awesome Ubuntu/Linux Apps you might not know about…yet

I particularly love AptonCD (allows you to create a cd of all the packages that you’ve installed – amazingly useful for backup, creating master builds, sharing/installing onto your friends computers or integrating into a live cd), pixelize (mosaic image maker), dvddisaster (awesome program for recovering data from damagged dvds) and tilda (a funky drop-down terminal).
