Meet Emily

Meet Emily, she’s not quite what she seems. If you watch the video you’ll see an extraordinarily lifelike CG animation the likes of which I’ve not seen before. Pr0n version due along in 5..4..3..2..

Very good, any Hi-res versions floating around?

I don’t know, all these years working on 3D have made me very jaded about this kind of thing.

It must have cost a fortune in time and processing power to create the model, shader passes, lighting set-up, mo-cap and rendering to make this so lifelike…so why didn’t they just spend the extra £20 and get an impression of some real human teeth?

If the recent robots seen in JP can have seriously real-looking teeth, then there’s no reason at all for a gob full of shiny gravestones like that, dragging her face right down into the uncanny f*****g vally.

Bah!

It’s a fair point Kaye – it used to be that hair was the hardest thing but now that they’ve chucked so much processing power at doing hair and particles, teeth are always sucky. It’s weird though, lips move, teeth don’t – they’re fixed elements so why do they always get them wrong – they normally look like they’re hovering in the mouth unattached to anything else.

Was Bob Geldof real ?
