I submit stuff to them all the time, but apparently it’s never disaster enough to get published…

I liked the arguments going on in the comments of the post – lots of people seemed to think that there was no disaster and I guess it’s not quite so clear from the scan but it’s not as simple as distortion from the reflection – they’ve really been worked on – bags under eyes, wrinkles/creases and 5 o’clock shadow as well as the shape of heads, hair colour. But most of all it was the fact that it was Marie Claire’s own staff who(according to my more girlie friends) constantly bang on about ‘real beauty’ – except when it refers to them so it seems.
