Fimo Fractals
Since I was browsing the ever excellent Evil Mad Scientist Laboratories today (see my earlier plea for help) I was blown away by their Iterative Algorithmic Plastic Sculpture aka Fimo Fractals. So easy and yet very cool – I might have to dig out my Fimo and make these with the kids over Xmas. Now, how to do the ”’Julia set”’ or the ”’Mandelbrot set”’?
BTW, using a laser cuter to lattice pie crust is also worth a look whilst you’re there.

You’d get more than a high five and a glass of mulled wine from me if you could pull off either of them in Fimo.
Great, now I want to see if I can do it in biscuit dough. I’m supposed to be decorating a tree here.
