The Damned United
The trailer for The Damned United is out. I’ve a personal interest in this as, not only do I live in Leeds and know most of the filming locations but they almost used my house as Brian Clough’s house in the movie but in the end apparently it just wasn’t cheesy 70′s enough as we’d already started to do it up after moving in when they contacted mrs grom.
I’m not a football fan but ”’The Damned United”’ is still a very good book and the screenplay and cast bode well for this to be a big hit at the cinema too.
Egad – something has gone very wrong with my typing fingers – “shorpitlity” was acutally meant to read “hospitality”!

They did a load of filming for this in our street recently. Jim was very miffed as they parked the shorpitlity wagon right outside out house and didn’t even let us have any!
