My ex bandmate Jim aka Sgt Rock has nabbed Q music’s video of the day with his sublimely genius Mr B the Gentleman Rhymer cover version of Straight outta Compton by NWA. Ice Cube will choke on his Cucumber sandwich.
very good – i last saw jim as part of rock, onic and bob. This is an excellent cover. PROPS.
I wholeheartedly recommend going to Mr B’s Myspace and, if you only listen to one track, listen to ‘Timothy’ – a superb track all about the UK’s premier hip hop supremo Tim Westwood – it’s had quite a few plays on BBC 6 Music and is a cracker of a track.
