Dull Walls no More
I’ve got an itch to fill more wall space here at Prime Towers. I checked my usual sources, Pictures On Walls (who do ”’Banksy”’ and ”’Jamie Hewlett”’ amongst many others), Eelus (but I’m not as keen on his new direction) & ZeroBoutique (who do some excellent t-shirts and prints) but nothing caught my eye. I then found inPRNT who have a lot of very good artists on their roster including one of my current favourites Olly Moss – now if they’d print up more of his prints I’d be spending like crazy – I’d happily give wallspace to any of these designs but so far I don’t think any are available to order. Boo.
If anyone has any other suggestions then please let me know in the comments.

There, I Fixed It. A site dedicated to demonstrating what Real Life ”’MacGyver”’ would do. Genius at work.
Circle the Cat
Gah! Circle the Cat is both infuriating and addictive. All you have to do in this game is stop the cat breaking out but I’ll bet anything it takes you several goes before you manage it.
Kid swaps ipod for walkman
In an experiment purely designed to make anyone over the age of 35 feel completely cheated by the pace of technological development, a 13 year old kid swapped his iPod touch for a 30 year old Sony Walkman. In the same way that he’d have been pretty disappointed being force fed a Vesta curry, the Walkman unsurprisingly ‘sucked’ in every possible way. The most insightful comment was the fact that it took him three days to discover a second side to a tape, and that the Metal/Normal setting wasn’t a crap genre shuffle mode.

Christopher Doyle has created a brand bible on how is visual identity should be used – genius!
The Most Badass Graves
When I die, I’d like them to play the number single from 100 years from now. I don’t care what they put on my gravestone though – I won’t be able to beat these Badass Graves.

It’s all in the Pronunciation
Some companies have to be very careful how you pronounce their name.

Keyboard cat on the darkside
This is a quality Keyboard Cat clip where he firstly provides a soundtrack to the scene from the Bionic Woman where the prom queen tries PCP for the first time, then he’s jamming with Hall and Oats and finally causes two stoned teenagers to drive off a cliff. Really, what more could you want?

Have a whole selection of zooming into things – start with Zoom into a Tooth.
Guitar Zero
Jimmy Page has recently spoken out against Guitar Hero claiming it doesn’t really teach kids about music. I’m not sure if I agree as last night I got drunk, smashed my 2008 Gibson SG controller and threw my portable LCD TV out of the window. What else is there to know?

Pinout Heaven
If you ever need to connect devices together or need to know hwo to wire up obscure (and common) cables, you will love The Hardware Book, pinouts.ru and the new boy on the block, the all pinouts wiki. (Some or all of these may be currently down due to ”’slashdot effect”’ but will be back shortly).
A Load of C0ck and Balls
Not one but two blogs with one purpose in mind – to highlight the phenomenal amount of Things That Look Like Cock n Balls, there really are d1cks everywhere. And no, I didn’t go looking and just ‘happen’ upon these sites. IT was research, erm , no wait…

Nazis Adopt a Jewish Road
Bwa ha ha ha ha! Some neo-Nazis in Missouri applied to adopt a road presumably less for community spirit and more for the publicity. The local Department of Transportation, rather than go through another long, expensive legal battle to stop them, have decided instead to rename the road after Rabbi ”’Abraham Joshua Heschel”’. Nice.
Tony Allen Secret Agent Remix Contest
My friend Colt is really ramping up his excellent posts on his many sites – his latest one is about the Tony Allen Secret Agent Remix Contest. It’s rare to get access to the individual files/samples from such a world class musician so make the most of it.
Sofa/Pool Table Transformer
Why did I find out about this too late?!?! The convertable Sofa/Pool Table is just what my house needs (despite what mrs grom might think) and it sold for a mere 95 of your English pounds.
Better Living through T-Shirts
Here’s an idea I had a few years ago that is being tried out by ”’Mos Def”’. Instead of buying his new album, you can buy a T-shirt which comes with a download code for the album. I’m very intrigued to see how this pans out.
Hawk Flying in the White House
Skateboard legend Tony Hawk was invited to the White House by President Obama the other day and was allowed to skate inside the building! He posted the (mostly blurry) photos on twitter.
Gay Google
Google have slipped in a nice subtle (very subtle in fact)rainbow bar above the search results if you search for certain ”’LGBT”’ phrases. Presumably to tie in the many Pride celebrations around the world at this time of year. The interesting bit is that a phrase like, say, ‘Gay horse’ doesn’t show the bar but ‘gay marriage’ does.
