Not Quite What Gibson Intended

One of my favourite books is the cyberpunk classic (and arguably the first cyberpunk novel) ”’Neuromancer”’ by ”’William Gibson”’. It has a famous first line
‘The sky above the port was the color of television, tuned to a dead channel.‘. Flickr user ivorjawa amusingly points out the anachronism – damn digital tv!
