The Scunthorpe Problem
I know I’ve blogged about this before but it was a major headache for me when I was a sysadmin in a school many years ago. The Scunthorpe Problem still exists despite having been around since people decided that there was a need to censor the interwebs. I can laugh now that it doesn’t directly affect me.
I like that even better as it would be ‘Mimsyheroe’
I want to be a mimsy hero!
Activision are actually developing this at the moment, due for release late 2010 complete with a fildly little controller.
We have a filter that rather than blocking swearwords substitutes them for something ‘softer’ However that would still substitute Clitheroe for mimsy – oh well.
