Tenori-on Orange

We’ve featured Yamaha’s genius Tenori-on a few times before but I thought I’d highlight the new Yamaha Tenori-on Orange as an example of good marketing. First off, Yamaha give free ones to lots of highly credible musicians and filmed them using them for the first time, then after the buzz had been created and most people thought they could only dream of owning one due to the cost (about £900), they have just released the Orange version which, although about half the cost – a much more reasonable £499-ish, differs only in irrelevant details  – no leds on the back, no batteries, plastic body, not aluminium.  Time to get excited by it all over again.
