The Dark Side of Everest

Mount Everest is a very evocative name. It’s the most widely known mountain in the world and despite the amount of publicity regualrly seen for people making attempts, the huge death toll is often overlooked. For every 10 people attempting to summit, one has died. What’s mentioned even less of the time is that most of the bodies are still there and mountaineers attempting to summit walk within feet of years old bodies strewn along the route.
