Unfortunate truncated URLs – Carrots glazed with WHAT??

I know he’s renowned for his experiental dishes, and I’m sure there’s a market for this in some communities… but I think I’ll give it a miss, thanks… I prefer carrots glazed with butter… perhaps honey at a push.. but man juice?? http://www.bbc.co.uk/food/recipes/carrotsglazedwithcum_80467

This week I are mostly playing…

I to know that a lot of the readers out there are going to hate me for this one… it combines Physics, Wallace and Gromit, sweet graphics, excellent gameplay, a large dose of frustration, and anĀ awful lot of time p155ed up the wall!

Birds on wire inspire song

“Reading a newspaper, I saw a picture of birds on the electric wires. I cut out the photo and decided to make a song, using the exact location of the birds as notes“. And a lovely melody it creates too!

Live classical cello / motion capture mashup

There is going to be a totally awesome live stream from King’s Court, London, this week involving a live classical/jazz cellist, ”’Matthew Barley”’. He’s going to be performing several pieces of music whilst being motion-captured and a VJ is going to be creating some great sounding imagery in a (probably) never been done before manner. There appears to be one on Wednesday and then three on Saturday evening running pretty much consecutively. Be there or be a philistine!

High Five Escalator

I’m a firm believer in the overuse of the old ”’high five”’ as a form of shared celebration of completely insignificant things. However, despite the inherent lack of enthusiasm displayed by these high fivers, I couldn’t help but feel a nice squidgey warmth in me… although that could just be incontinence.

Scientific Attempt To Create Most Annoying Song Ever

Not sure if this is a repost, but it’s new to me… Some fellas back in the 90s set upon the task of researching what would make the most unwanted music, in terms of both instrumental arrangement and lyrical content. After much research they composed this epic piece of music. Everything is in here – bagpipes, oompah, tuneless kids, Christmas novelty, Walmart references, rapping opera singers… is it wrong that I actually quite like it?

And for the juxtaposition, here is the most wanted music created after a similar research process. Is it wrong that this type of music makes me want to leap into a grave purely so I can turn in it?

BaTracer

I’ve been playing this game BaTracer.com for about a month and a half now and it is thoroughly addictive! It a racing manager game – kind of like a football manager but for cars. Basically you take a seat in a team and go up against another 20-30 other people from around the world for a full season which can last anything from 30 to 50 days. If you only join 1 season then all you need to do is spend 5 minutes a day setting up your car for the next event, however you can have several seasons on the go at the same time if you are really sad (like me). There are full seasons for F12008, 2007, 2002, 1986, Caterham7, Champcars, Le Mans style Endurance, A1GP etc – each with their own nuances. If you decide to sign up please mention me by name as I get extra kudos for referals, Ta! Also, look me up and we’ll set up a team together. See you on the track!

Uncle Dirty

An interesting biographical study on a blogger’s great uncle who is obsessed with the male form. Dirty Uncle unveils the unusual habits of an almost-90-year-old. If you choose to skim this page you’re probably not missing too much but when you get to the picture where he’s hoovering (I’m sure you cannot help but notice the picture on the television in the background) do yourself a favour and read that particular caption. NSFW.

What do you want for Christmas, Darling?

Oooh, I’d just love a sledge shaped like a d1ld0, a God robot, a cuddly herpes virus and a clown syringe please! A plethora of disturbing Xmas present ideas. A significant number of these presents are from (a) from Japan and (b) involve p00p. LSFW due to doll w1lli3s and other such oddness.

1guys1cup

A jolly little parody video for you – 2guys1cup. I understand that this is much funnier if you watch 2girls1cup first, but we recommend that under no circumstances whatsoever should ever, ever, EVER watch 2girls1cup. If you combine JC’s post of reactions to 2girls1cup (30th Oct) with this parody video you may get a pretty good idea of what the original video is about… apparently. I would obfuscate “2girls1cup” but JC has already sullied the good name of Pri.me with it so we might as well get the content filters completely freaking. BTW, did I mention that you shouldn’t watch 2girls1cup? Ever? It will scar you.

Yin Yang

Hello people. It’s been an awfully long time since I’ve posted anything what with moving house and everything. Anyway, I found this and I thought of you. Yin Yang is a game that you will either play for 2 minutes or it will ruin the rest of your day.

Caravaneer

I’m sure most of our readers are old enough to have wasted far too many precious childhood hours on Elite for the BBC Micro. This game, Caravaneer, is practically identical from a concept perspective – buy goods, sell goods, get attacked on the way between towns etc. but with a bit of a Mad Max edge to it. I’ve already had a couple of consecutive late nights thanks to this game! Do yourself a favour and read the documentation (at least skim it) before playing.

Neon Graveyard

Here’s a great Flickr account that I’m positive JC will love, what with his penchant for old neon paraphernalia. Some chap called Carl has collected images of scrap yard where old Las Vegas neon signs go to die. Quite a few of them are a little too tightly cropped for my liking but it’s good work nevertheless. Cheers Sputnik

5555

This happens to be post #5555. Here’s a couple of interesting 5555 related facts:
1) Daft Punk released a bunch of tunes with Anime style videos which when strung together formed a film called 5555
2) The sequence of digits “5555″ appears 5 times in the first 55555 decimal places of pi*

* This is not strictly true – it’s actually 6 times in the first 50,000 places but that doesn’t make as good a story.

Mock ITV’s F1

This is probably only of limited interest, but if you live in the UK, like F1 and have a sense of humour (I appreciate the latter two don’t necessarily go hand-in-hand) then this cartoon will probably tickle you.
